BIG GOV EXPANSION PROBLEM: Biggest revenue drop since 1932

The publicity outfit helping Ben Bernanke tout the need for the increased regulatory power for The Fed did a great job in getting most of the news producers and editors in America to continue the con job upon the American people. Their objective is to get us to believe that the economy is on the road to recovery. Don't believe it for a second.

Below is an excerpt from a AP News Story on the problems the Big Government Expansionists are facing, but not facing up to. The promises being made by Obama and most other politicians on both sides of the isle are simply unsustainable. This story is a partial reflection of what Congressman Ron Paul and GOP Senate senate hopeful Peter Schiff have been echoing, non-stop, for decades.

This story is a testament to the fact that the Federal Government needs to reduce spending, stop promising more entitlements, bring back a mindset of self sufficiency amongst the American people and shrink the size and scope of the Federal Government.

WASHINGTON – The recession is starving the government of tax revenue, just as the president and Congress are piling a major expansion of health care and other programs on the nation's plate and struggling to find money to pay the tab.
The numbers could hardly be more stark: Tax receipts are on pace to drop 18 percent this year, the biggest single-year decline since the Great Depression, while the federal deficit balloons to a record $1.8 trillion.

Other figures in an Associated Press analysis underscore the recession's impact: Individual income tax receipts are down 22 percent from a year ago. Corporate income taxes are down 57 percent. Social Security tax receipts could drop for only the second time since 1940, and Medicare taxes are on pace to drop for only the third time ever.
The last time the government's revenues were this bleak, the year was 1932 in the midst of the Depression.

"Our tax system is already inadequate to support the promises our government has made," said Eugene Steuerle, a former Treasury Department official in the Reagan administration who is now vice president of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation.

ThePresident.Com and I proudly endorse Ron Paul and what are known as his Freedom Principals. I am extremely confident that his policies, which are reflected in his distinguished and most consistent congressional voting record, would go a long way toward restoring this once great republic with Ron Paul as President of the United States.

People like to bash Ron Paul for what at first seem like extreme positions until taking into full consideration the root of his ideology, which are known by many as the Ron Paul FREEDOM PRINCIPLES. Those principals are as follows:

* Rights belong to individuals, not groups.
* Property should be owned by people, not government.
* All voluntary associations should be permissible -- economic and social.
* The government's monetary role is to maintain the integrity of the monetary unit, not participate in fraud.
* Government exists to protect liberty, not to redistribute wealth or to grant special privileges.
* The lives and actions of people are their own responsibility, not the government's.

Those are Ron Paul's Freedom Principals. And Ron Paul, the ultimate citizen politician, follows those principals to the letter. But few, if any, of our supposed leaders in Congress come close. And, out of the others who are running for president... Well, that's for you to decide. But I don't think any of them match up to the integrity and principals of the Congressman known as Dr. No. Our nation has slipped as the dollar has slid due to a multi-trillion dollar warfare and corporate welfare state funded by a unconstitutional Federal Reserve that began counterfeiting our currency as early as 1913 until present. We can regain our lost prosperity, if we choose substance over hype disguised as hope. Vote for Dr. No. This country does have a chance to get it right this time.

When I first started writing on this blog/website as early as 1998, I was not out to endorse. I was in ridicule of a long list of U.S. government policies. As I dug deep for knowledge and insight, one man kept popping on the radar who made the most sense and his voting record as a United States Congressman matched his talking record. This man was and still is Ron Paul.

When he ran for President in 2008, I was already writing about him on this website. Out of all the candidates I felt like giving my time to, Ron Paul was the only one. I lobbied his campaign office and was given the privilege of becoming the administrator and moderator of Ron Paul's official MySpace page during his run for President in 2008, which was amongst the most active social network of the time alongside MeetUp.Com, before Facebook and Twitter grabbed hold.

I already knew a lot about Ron Paul or I would not have been given the job, which I did not charge the campaign for. I volunteered my time. But, by the time I'd been working for dozens of 18 hour days digging up where Ron Paul stood on every micro issue that MySpace users were writing in about, I learned, even further, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that Congressman Ron Paul is very authentic in terms of his message and how his voting record lines up. One just needs to do the research.

Many may not agree with Congressman Paul on every micro issue, but it is so clear to those who have done the research, that Congressman Paul has delivered upon his oath to uphold The Constitution. That is compared to what I believe is a vast majority in Washington who have not, and have succumbed to the power trip and the narrow special interests that have marginalized we, the people, on nearly every level of our lives. Ron Paul fights for liberty and justice for all, like no other.

It appears that more and more people are doing their homework and learning for themselves who Ron Paul really is, and not buy into the little box that the mainstream media attempts to restrict him to as the media works to back the corporate backed puppets who lack substance, and basically just talk and look pretty.

Hoping all who read this far find the news interviews and articles referenced here to be an excellent resource and comprehensive glimpse of one of the greatest of the few citizen politicians of our time.
