Ron Paul's bill known as HR459, the latest House version of the "Audit The Fed" legislation, passed the House today with 327 Yea votes and 98 Nay votes. Only one Republican congressman from New York, Bob Turner voted against the bill with 97 Democrats voting against the bill as well.
Senator Harry Reid of Nevada is lobbying the Senate to strike it down in the Senate, with rumors that he may even block it from being voted on by the Senate at all, stalling it permanently. All are urged to call and write your Senators and urge them to support getting it up for a vote and to vote in favor of this very important legislation for Fed transparency.
