Money Money Money.... That's all the GOP can attach to Ron Paul?

I have been sickened once again by the shallow GOP in this 2012 election cycle. Proud to have changed my party affiliation to INDEPENDENT. Ron Paul is about the only person affiliated with the GOP who I can honestly identify myself with.

When I just sat back and had a chance to listen to the cheap token video the Republican National Committee made to supposedly honor Ron Paul, I just about vomited.

All they could come up with is how Ron Paul was/is a fiscal hawk. Don't get me wrong, I love how Ron Paul never voted for a tax increase and how Ron Paul NEVER voted to raise the debt ceiling. However, Ron Paul is MUCH more than a fiscal hawk.

Ron Paul voted against nearly every military action that Congress voted in favor of during his terms in office. He voted against militarism that has drained our treasury and actually made us less safe, for we have become the agressor. I will even go so far as to say the U.S. has become as bad and more of a killing machine than any group of terrorists. We drop bombs from drones for God sakes. Without the courage to engage our supposed enemies, we have become terrorists, dropping bombs on too many innocent civilians to count!

But, back to Ron Paul.... He has also consistently voted against the debasement and dilution of our currency and shined a spotlight on what that matter is all about. He voted against the way Congress has granted the President the authority to war without Congressional approval. He has consistently voted against foreign aid to countries we foolheartedly call our allies, most of whom are dictators and/or faux democracies leading Apartheid states and regimes with horrible human rights records. He pointed out that U.S. foreign aid is the taking of money from poor people in America to give it to rich people in poor countries! I could go on and on and on about who Ron Paul is, but the GOP decided to stick to how he is tight with money, like he is some sort of stingy person who hates helping people. Nothing could be further from the truth. Ron Paul would take money, time and other resources out of his own pocket to help people. But he would not take from you or me to help others. He would prefer to leave that up to us. He is as generous as generous gets! Best part is he has never been on the take like most politicians. He is a true statesman! Don't even bother calling Ron Paul a politician, because he is not one.

The GOP made that video posted above in one more final feeble attempt to suck off his vibrant energy, the same way Sarah Palin and the Neocons hijacked and attached themselves to the Tea Party movement Ron Paul's supporters founded. Let me tell you GOP, it ain't going to work. You LOST Ron Paul supporters, not just because of this video, but because you attempted to dilute Ron Paul's message when you gave him a conditional invitation to speak at the Republican National Convention, so long as the Romney campaign could screen the speech. Fortunately Ron Paul would never agree to such a hoax. Your loss, RNC and GOP. Your loss.

Ron Paul is so much more than anything the GOP is willing to admit. Ron Paul is a true American hero. The GOP is made up mostly of wankers, willing to sell out to the highest bidder. Ron Paul has NEVER sold out, as the video points out, but conveniently left out so many other important facts.

The GOP and the RNC really should have no right to affiliate themselves with Ron Paul. Sure, he has changed the Republican discussion, but he has changed the discussion of the whole country and the world for that matter, not just what the Republicans are doing and talking about.

Thank You Ron Paul. You are the real deal. And to the GOP and the RNC.... there are no words bad enough to describe who you are.
